slow motion bubblesslow motion bubblesA British photographer in Exeter, England, Richard Heeks took these incredible slow motion photographs of what happens to a bubble when his spouse Sarah Heeks gently poked a bubble with her finger. Heeks used used a macro camera with a fast shutter speed of 1/500th of a second, a carefully chosen sheltered spot in his garden and seized upon the opportunity offered by a rare wind-free day to take these amazing pictures. I've linked to one here; click it to see the series in full size. They're extraordinarily lovely, and this is a seriously cool idea.
